La Mata-La Ventosa Wind Farm is located between the towns of La Mata and La Ventosa, which are about 20 and 14 km north and NNE of Juchitán de Zaragoza, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The wind farm is in two sections: one section (20 turbines) lies just north of the highway which runs halfway between the two towns and the other section (7 turbines) lies halfway between La Ventosa and the highway. Commissioned in 2010, the wind farm consists of 27 Clipper Liberty C89 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 67.5 MW.
