Pier II Wind Farm is located along the hilltops up to 6 km (4 miles) directly south of the town of Esperanza, which is sited on Highway 150D about 90 km from Puebla and 50 km from Cordoba, in the state of Puebla, Mexico. Commissioned in 2015, it consists of 33 Gamesa G97/2000 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 66 MW.
