Former "Merriefield" estate built for John Norris Miller, Sr {attorney} on originally 13 acres of land. Miller served as partner of the Hornblower, Miller, Garrison & Earle law firm. Lindley Garrison, partner of the firm, served as Secretary of War during the Wilson administration. The estate was demolished sometime after the 1950's.
