One of two nearly-identical 9-story Neo-Georgian cooperative-apartment buildings completed together in 1920. Designed by George F. Pelham, they are both clad in red brick with stone trim. This building is slightly narrower than its counterpart to the west at No. 115, and also has a slightly lighter shade of brick.
The central entrance has a glass-and-wood door and sidelights between white-painted, fluted pilasters supporting an entablature with a shallow arch, from which a rounded, green canvas canopy extends out over the sidewalk. There is a large wall lantern outside of both pilasters. A stone surround rises up from the entablature to surround the center window at the 2nd floor, with an iron railing across its lower portion. To the left the ground floor has three bays of single-windows and a double-window end bay, and to the right there are two single-windows and a service entrance at the east end. All of the ground-floor windows have iron grilles across the lower halves.
The upper floors have the same window layout, except for the western single-window bay having smaller bathroom windows, the same as the easternmost single-window bay, and the east end bay also having double-windows. These double-windows have eared stone lintels at the 2nd floor, and all the windows have simple stone sills. A stone string course runs below the 3rd floor, where the end bays have shallow stone balconies with low iron railings, and they are topped by brick arches with keystones. This is repeated at the 9th floor, but without the balconies, and with the middle four single-window bays also having brick arches. Another string course runs below this floor, and at the 7th floor the two center bays have a stone balcony with an iron railing. The facade is crowned by a cream-colored metal roof cornice with a small roundel between each of the many brackets.
The building contains 38 apartments.
