167-foot, 17-story Italian Renaissance-revival cooperative-apartment building completed in 1930. Designed by Margon & Holder, it is clad in grey brick above a limestone ground floor. The central entrance has glass-and-wood paneled double-doors below a pointed-arch carved with two sea lions flanking a shield surmounted by a knight's helmet and ribbons. Hanging wrought-iron light fixtures are on either side. There is a small metal-and-glass storefront on either side of the entrance, with a gated basement entrance at the far west end. The ground floor is topped by a band course with a row of rosettes.

The upper floors have four bays of paired windows with a bay of single-windows in the center, all with stone sills. The windows on the 2nd floor are framed by slender, pale-pink stone pilasters and topped by outlines of round-arches in the same painted stone. These repeat at the middle three bays on the 9th floor, which also have a row of paneled brick spandrels below them. A band course tops the 13th floor, with round-arched over the end-bay windows and scalloping along the underside of the band course at the middle bays. The end-bay spandrels at the top floors have projecting stone shields, and the facade is crowned by a dentiled roof cornice.

The 16th-floor penthouse level is set back from the main roof line and not visible from the street. The west elevation is clad in beige brick. There are two bays of single-windows at the front; the rest of the facade is recessed and has a bay of single-windows paired with smaller bathroom windows, then a bay of double-windows, and another bay of small bathroom windows.

The rear, north-facing facade is clad in red brick and has four bays of single-windows, with a black metal fire escape running down the western two. The building was converted to a co-op in 1984, with 69 apartments. The ground floor is occupied by Madhav Convenience Store, Barber Shop 72, and Mayson Cleaners.
