Building constructed in 2007 and bank reopened around early-January 2008, its original location was located at 5828 W US-10 (between Larson's Ace Hardware and former Lakeshore Dermatology). The downtown Ludington location (124 S James St.) has closed its doors on January 18, 2008 at 5pm as well, making the historic downtown bank building vacant. That bank building (constructed between 1913 and 1914) was first Ludington State Bank (1914-1974), Ludington Bank & Trust (1974-1986), Old Kent Bank (1986-April 2001), and finally Fifth Third Bank (April 2001).

Today, this is the only Fifth Third Bank in the Ludington area.
