This spot was a former location for fast food restaurant McDonald's from its opening on October 7, 1972 until January 29, 1990, it was relocated to 5389 W US-10 and reopened on January 30, 1990. The old restaurant was demolished around late 1993, while the three-store building (2/3 portion houses Family Video) was constructed around 1994. The current space is now a sandwich restaurant chain, opened around May 2013.
