Great Food - Friendly Atmosphere
Located in beautiful Ludington, Scotty's Restaurant is where you’ll find casual fine dining at it’s best. Scotty’s features fine steaks and seafood, and has a full service bar. Please come and join us for lunch or dinner and enjoy a wonderful meal. The Scott family has been in the restaurant business in the Ludington area for over four decades. Dwight "Scotty" Scott purchased Wren's Roost (established around mid 1930's) on Hamlin Lake in 1964 and then (Scotty's) Towne House (now Michael's Bar & Grille) in downtown Ludington on May 29, 1975. Wren's Roost burned to the ground on January 24, 1977 at 11:42pm. Scotty then bought the Swedish Coffee Pot in February 1977 and renamed it Scotty's Harbor House on April 4, 1977. It was later renamed to Scotty's Restaurant (or simply Scotty's) somewhere in the 1990's. The restaurant is now owned by Scotty's son Dick and grandson Chip. The Scott family also owns PM Steamers, which is located on the waterfront across from the city marina at 502 W Loomis St.
