9-story Neo-Federal cooperative-apartment building completed in 1912. Designed by Rouse & Goldstone, it is clad in variegated dark-red brick. The lower two floors are banded and framed by a limestone water table at the bottom and a broad limestone band course above the 2nd floor. The facade is seven bays wide, with a central entrance of a green wood-and-glass door slightly recessed in a green-painted stone surround and covered by a rounded, navy-blue canvas canopy. To either side there is a single-window, a glass secondary door in a wooden frame, and a tripartite window. There are splayed brick lintels over each opening, and the windows have green iron grilles that bow out at the bottoms. There is also a black metal service door at the far east end, down a couple steps from the sidewalk. The 2nd floor has the same windows, with another tripartite window above the main entrance, and single-windows above the secondary doors, all with simple stone sills. The center bay is framed at the lower two floors by a pair of limestone piers supporting an entablature at the broad band course above the 2nd floor, and the center bay at the 2nd floor has a shallow, rounded, green iron railing in front of its lower part, as well as a pair of small, green iron lions' heads between the window and the piers.
The upper floors have the same window arrangement, with the tripartite windows in the center and end bays grouped into 2-story round-arches at the 3rd-4th floors; these are topped by keystones, and have green metal spandrels between the two floors at these bays, decorated with alternating roundels and triglyphs. There are also metal railings at these bays, with a wider one at the 3rd floor center bay, above the band course. The 5th floor is set off by a stone string course, expanded to a shallow stone balcony at the three middle bays, where it is supported by four sets of paired brackets and is topped by a wide, green metal railing. Another stone band course sets off the 8th floor, where the center and end bays are fronted by rounded, green metal railings.
The top floor has a steep-sloped copper mansard roof between brick chimneys at the ends, pierced by projecting copper dormers at each bay. The single-window dormers have triangular pediments, and the wider tripartite ones have rounded pediments. The facade is dotted with protruding air-conditioning units. The building contains 80 apartments.
