5-story Renaissance-revival (with Gothic elements) residential building completed in 1885. Designed by Thom & Wilson, it is clad in light-grey-painted brick on the upper floors, painted stone on the 2nd floor, and has a black metal-and-glass storefront on the ground floor. There are two recessed, heavy-timber doors at the left side, both with multi-pane window sections and set in segmental-arches; the left door is to the upper floors, and the right door opens into the restaurant space, covered by a rounded red canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. At the right is a many-paned window with a low red-brick wall at the sidewalk topped by planters. An iron parapet tops the ground floorm with vertical notches between four piers.

The 2nd floor has a wide arched opening at the right, with a tripartite window, and a wide single-window at the left, set below an arched molding with elaborate foliate ornament around an urn. There is rough-faced rusticated stonework appearing around both arches. A stone string course sets off the 3rd floor, which has two bays of paired windows with separate upper panes. There is a carved ornamental design at top of the center of this floor.

The 4th floor has three single-windows without ornament, and the top floor has two bays of paired windows separated by pilasters. There are pointed arches above each window, combined under shallow arched brick pediments at each bay. The roof line is marked by a brick parapet with vertical recessed notches. The ground floor is occupied by Joanne restaurant.
