Holy Trinity Community House

USA / New Jersey / West New York / West 65th Street, 3
 church, community center / hall

5-story modernist community house completed in 1957. Designed by Charles E. Tilton, it adjoins the church on its west side. The narrow front facade is clad in red and beige brick. The ground floor has a 3-over-5 stained-glass window on the left side, set in metal framing, and bright-red wooden double-doors on the right. Three stone steps with brick rises lead up to a small stone porch in front of the doors, will a low brick wall topped by a planter separating the porch from the left side of the building, where a small areaway is enclosed by a low iron fence. A short metal canopy cover the full ground floor.

The upper floors have beige brick end piers, and red-brick spandrels between floors; the one between the 1st & 2nd floors is much larger. Each floor has two bays of double-windows separated by a wide beige-brick pier. The front part of the west elevation is clad in parged beige brick, while the rear part is red brick. The only openings are single-windows lining a shallow light well at the middle of the top two floors.
