Former space for furniture store Palm Furniture Co. (November 2, 1892-1941 [½ portion, downsized to one building at 309 S James St. {next door north from here}]; c. October 1948 [relocated back to this location from 309 S James St.; swapped spaces with Anna Palm & Son]-c. late-July 1953), floor shops Palm('s) Floor Coverings (c. April 3, 1942-January 29, 1943), Anna Palm & Son Floor Coverings (January 30, 1943-c. 1944), Anna Palm & Son (c. 1944-c. September 24, 1948 [swapped spaces with Palm Furniture Co. at 309 S James St.]), dry cleaning services Clark Cleaners (October 22, 1953 [originally located at 315½ S James St.]-August 29, 1964), Tommy's Cleaners (August 31, 1964-early-December 1964), and Blue Ribbon Cleaners (January 6, 1965-early 1980's [relocated to 411 S James St.]). The current space is now a hair salon, relocated from 315 S James St. to this location in 1984.

Established in the early 1980's by Bruce Rillema, Pierrot Hair Design is a friendly hair salon located in downtown Ludington. Once you visit us, you become part of our lives. We want you to be happy with your look and we’ll do everything possible to make that happen.

Inside this hair salon building is a nail salon Colour Coated Nail and Makeup Artistry, it was opened on March 1, 2018 by owner Kara Anne Treesh.
