This building space used to house one-third portion of the sales center NorthShore Villas and Yacht Club from August 23, 2007 until around mid-2009 and one-third portion of the fraternal order center Elks Lodge 736 (or The Seven Thirty-Six) from around 2011 (originally located at 129 E Ludington Ave.) until early 2015 (merged with Elks Lodge 250 in Manistee on April 2, 2015 due to declining membership and finances). The current space is now a barber shop, relocated from this building's basement to this building and reopened on September 3, 2015 by Chelsey Hackert, the same day as its subsidiary Beauty Boutique opened, which is located next door from here at 102 E Ludington Ave. but closed its doors in mid-2017.

Established in 2002 by owners Dick Garten & Wendy Patterson, the granddaughter and daughter of Chelsey Hackert
