This is a folded diamond, or partial cloverleaf (parclo-AB), interchange between Interstate 77 and Secondary Route 717 (Little Creek Highway / Krenning Road). It is located north of Wytheville, Virginia in Jefferson National Forest. All of the ramps are on the south side of the interchange due to the Big Walker Mountain Tunnel just to the north. The interchange was constructed around 1972, along with Interstate 77, and has not been significantly modified since.
