ghost village, historic ruins
Ruins of a former Alutiiq village. Due to a smallpox epidemic, the Russian-American Company started moving survivors from 65 small villages starting in 1840 and concentrating them in seven places such as Woody Island and Orlovskoe. By 1844, the residents of Kiliuda were moved to Orlovskoe along with those living in Igak and Ugak.
