Prairie Star Wind Farm, originally called High Prairie II, is located in southeastern Minnesota. Stretching about 12 miles roughly in a east-southwest orientation it sits south of the Grand Meadow and north of the Mower County wind farms, 'centered' about 3 miles south of the town of Grand Meadow. Commissioned in 2007, it consists of 61 Vestas V82/1650 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 100.65 MW.
