Former farmhouse c. 1838 which was altered and expanded over time to become a residence of the Baker family. It was inherited by John C. Baker, Sr {financier} from the former Breezy Farm. Baker served as president of the Nassau-Suffolk Bond & Mortgage Co. of Mineola and the Roslyn Savings Bank. He also served as a trustee of the Nassau County Trust Co. of Mineola. His daughter married Edward Roesler, Jr. and resided in Plandome. Additionally, the elementary school located directly behind was named in honor of his wife, Elizabeth Mellick who passed away in 1948.

The home has been adaptively reused to become the Village of Great Neck Village Hall.
