This trail crosses the Black River and weaves between piles of slag from the Lorain Steel Mill. It also include a kayak launch ramp. the trail is about 2 miles long and connects with Bridgeway Trail in the Black River Reservation. Plans call tor the trails to extend to Lake Erie through Lorain and also to connect to the NorthCoast Inland Trail that run all the way to Toledo
