Estate home designed c. 1924 in the Georgian Revival by Walter B. Chambers on originally 33 acres of land for Benjamin Brewster Jennings {industrialist, financier}. Jennings served as president and chairman of the board of Socony-Mobil Co., director of Mobil Oil Corp., New York Trust Co., and Central Savings Bank of New York City. Ellen Biddle Shipman was comissioned to design formal landscaping for the estate.
