USA / New York / Old Westbury / Old Westbury, New York
residence, LIGC - Long Island Gold Coast, Georgian (architecture), movie / film / TV location

Estate home designed c. 1932 by Henry Renwick Sedgwick for Robert W. Winthrop. Winthrop was an investment banker and former president and benefactor of Winthrop University Hospital. Innocenti & Webel designed landscaping. First house built for Winthrop's uncle, Robert Dudley, named "Groton Farms" c. 1897 by McKim, Mead & White (it was demolished in 1948). A second library was added to the residence in 1956 with a parquet floor, raised walnut paneling and shelves repurposed from a French chateau. Modern wallpaper has been added from Zuber & Cie in the time since.

The interior and exterior were used as a filming location for S7E6 of "Royal Pains" as Divya makes a concierge visit to Ed Harper (played by Michael Gaston) and S1E7 of the Starz Network series "Power" as the site of the Stern mansion. It has also been used for “The Bourne Legacy”, “Blue Jasmine”, “Cafe Society”, “On the Rocks”, “Gossip Girls”, “Madame Secretary”, “Mozart in the Jungle”, and “The Good Wife.”
