Established and on air since September 26, 1999, this radio station evolved from a Top 40 contemporary hit radio to a Top 40 contemporary hit/alternative hybrid mix in 2007. WMOM also plays unreleased demos of local and regional artists. The radio station broadcasts live from a storefront window of the historic Stearns Hotel in downtown Ludington.

WMOM is owned by a Milwaukee-based broadcasting company Bay View Broadcasting, Inc.
