This is an unsignalized wide diamond interchange between Interstate 85 and U.S. Route 1 (Boydton Plank Road) just south of Alberta, Virginia. As well as being an important junction for the small town of Alberta, it connects Virginia Route 46 with northern Interstate 85, since the direct connection (Exit 27) with Route 46 is only a partial interchange.
