Khazmah

Jordan / al-Balqa / Dhirar /

It’s the largest village in center of the Jordan Valley, located in the Deir 'Alla District, Balqa Governorate, with 5,000 residents who established squatter settlements following the Palestinian exodus during the War of 1948. Most of this community are working in farming and government jobs and enjoying a good standard of living. The early founders and most inhabitants come from ALSATARIYYA tribe. However, some other individual families of the nearby areas settled here later on. This village has got a good reputation and is of major impact on the social life locally and nationwide.
