Twelve story office building designed in the Art Moderne style by Albert Kahn and constructed in 1929. In the 1980s the building was converted into 127 residential units. It was then known as the Griswold Senior Apartments and offered subsidized housing. The property was purchased in 2013. The building is being renovated to accommodate market rate apartments which required the former tenants to be re-located. The new owners changed the name of the building to The Albert in honor of architect Albert Kahn.
