Residence built c. 1890 in the Queen Anne Victorian style for John Pirie who served as an early village trustee. The home was designed with a cross-gable roof, bay windows, a large front porch, a tower, and decorative brackets and railings. The area was first developed as a resort community which factored heavily into the design of early homes.
