Residence built c. 1918 in the Colonial Revival style for Henry Miller Minton {industrialist}. Minton was a former president and chairman of the board of Church & Dwight Co. (manufacturers of Arm and Hammer Baking Soda). Minton was instrumental in the naming of the baking soda division as Arm and Hammer. By 1932, the Henry and his wife Helen relocated to "Brookwood" on on Old Courthouse Road, Manhasset in North Hills which is no longer extant.
