Rolling Hills Wind Farm (aka Glenrock II) stretches for about 10 miles north-to-south and is located about 10 miles north of Glenrock, Wyoming. Commissioned in 2009, it consists of 66 GE Energy wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 99 MW.
This is the westernmost of the three 'Glenrock' wind farms (Glenrock I, Rolling Hills, Glenrock III) developed on the site of the former Dave Johnston Coal Mine (1958-2000) which was reclaimed from 1999-2005.
