Foote Creek Rim Wind Farms are located for 6 miles (10 km) along and near the edge of the escarpment north of the "village" of Arlington, Wyoming (at Interstate 80 Exit 272).

There are actually 4 wind farms here (usually designated I, II, III and IV), distinguished not so much by their appearance or position as by the developers and/or owners / operators.
• Foote Creek Rim I (the southern part) was commissioned in 1999 and consists of 68 Mitsubishi MWT-600-47 (600 kW) wind turbines. Originally there were 69, but one turbine (#11) collapsed in 2010.
• Foote Creek Rim II (a bit north of the substation) was also commissioned in 1999 and consists of 3 Mitsubishi MWT-600-47 turbines.
• Foote Creek Rim III (north of the substation) was also commissioned in 1999 and consists of 33 NEG Micon NM44/750 (750 kW) turbines.
• Foote Creek Rim IV (the northernmost section) was commissioned in 2000 and consists of 28 Mitsubishi MWT-600-45 turbines.

The combined nominal generating capacity of all 4 wind farms (132 turbines) is 84.15 MW.
