Diamond Willow Wind Farm is located about 8 miles (13 km) southeast of Baker, in eastern Montana. Commissioned between 2007 and 2010, it consists of 20 GE Energy 1.5sle wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 30 MW.
The first 13 turbines (north and west parts of the site) were constructed in 2007 (1 turbine) and 2008 (12 turbines), while the 7 turbines on the southeast side were constructed in 2010.
