Historic house and plantation listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Built: 1925-1927
Architect: John Parks Almand (Little Rock, AR)
Architectural style: Tudor Revival
Areas of significance: Agriculture; Architecture
Area: 54 acres *
Also known as: James Robert Alexander House
Date added to NRHP: 1/27/1999

* The holdings of the entire plantation measure some 5,000 acres in size, about 54 acres of which contain the bulk of the more important structures that are covered by the NRHP listing. At some point after the estate\'s listing on the NRHP in 1999, the western portion of these 54 acres appears to have been subdivided, with a modern house and agricultural buildings having been erected. Unfortunately, this resulted in the demolition of a large number of the 24 outbuildings described in the property\'s NRHP listing. These new structures are not within the polygon boundaries, so the polygon depicts an area smaller than 54 acres.
