From 2012, renamed as the Elizabeth Tower in respect of the Monarch's Jubilee, just as the Victoria Tower was renamed. Affectionately known as Big Ben (Which is the name of the 14.5 Tonne (16 ton) bell in the belfry), this tower is known as the symbol of London. It is in the north extreme of Westminster Palace.
