Lambeth is an area of London on the south side of the river, to the west of Southwark and directly opposite Westminster and Charing Cross. The area is home to the Waterloo Station, the London Eye, Lambeth Palace, the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal National Theatre. The busiest parts of the area are near the river. It gives its name to the London Borough of Lambeth.
