I spent many an evening fishing in this lake. Small and unremarkable, I mostly remember it for the sense of peace and stillness it brought to me. I'd go out in a Coleman Scanoe with a small electric motor, and in most cases I'd be the only person on this lake. There was a bald eagle that often hung out here, perched on a branch, watching. Several times I'd watch him take off, and swoop down to the surface of the lake with talons extended. Every time, he'd fly back off with some fat trout or Arctic Grayling caught for his evening meal. Good memories, those.
