Site of a community of cabins used by commercial fisherman. Largely abandoned today. Only three cabins in the harbor remain occupied. One is part of the Tongass National Park. The other two are private cabins.

  • Just a note. Tongass is National FOREST. This is only important because it is administered by the Dept of Agriculture, versus the National Parks which are administered by the Dept of Interior. The management of a National Park (preservation for future generations) is quite different from the management of a National Forest (wise use).
