Cape Spencer

Coming from the west this is "the corner." Once your around the corner it's "Inside Passage" nearly to Seattle. Fisheries used to use Cape Spencer as a dividing line. In the 80's it was common to have a halibut opening that was 24 hours in South East, or two days west of Spencer. I always thought "two days west of Spencer", just had a magical sound, unless it blew.
