Glacier Wind Farm is located just south of the village of Ethridge, about 13 miles (20 km) west of Shelby, Montana (at the junction of Interstate 15 and US 2). Commissioned in 2008 (71 turbines, probably the west section) and 2009 (69 turbines, probably east), it consists of 140 Acciona AW-1500/77 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 210 MW.
