This corner neighborhood store (like all convenience stores in Louisiana, it also sells hard liquor) gained national notoriety when police shot & killed 37-year-old Alton Sterling in a scuffle outside the store. Soon after the incident, the store owner allowed a mural of Sterling on the outside of the store.
