Regional Library "G. Rakovski ”- Yambol dates back to 1862, when the Yambol community center“ Saglasie ”was founded. The library occupies a permanent place in the cultural life of the town of Yambol for almost a century and a half. It is the main book depository of the region with a fund of 270,000 library materials, an archive of local lore literature and a local press. The library is a center for complex library service of the international and interlibrary loan service for the region, of the reference-bibliographic and information activity and of the bibliography for the native land, as well as a regional center for library work.
