150-foot, 12-story office building completed in 1910. Designed by Walter E. Thompson, it was originally called the SS Building. The 3-story base is clad in limestone with banded outer piers on grey granite bases. The ground floor has a modernized grey metal-and-glass storefront and glass entrance door. The 2nd & 3rd floors have black cast-iron framed tripartite windows, with transoms at the 2nd floor. Above the center window of the 2nd floor is a triangular pediment broken by an escutcheon overlapping the center panel of the iron spandrels. The top of the piers are ornamented by circles with hanging pendants, and below the cornice capping the base is an inscription reading "SS BUILDING".
The 7-story midsection is clad in red and black banded brick at the outer piers. The middle has three windows on each floor separated by black cast-iron pilasters, and with iron spandrels between floors. A stone cornice with escutcheons at the piers caps the 10th floor. The 2-story crown is clad in stone and organized into two large, square, double-height bays with full stone surrounds and keystones. Between the floors in both bays is a stone spandrel with a cartouche. The facade is topped by a bracketed black metal roof cornice. The ground floor is occupied by London Bright Cleaners.
