MADE Hotel

USA / New Jersey / West New York / West 29th Street, 42-44
 hotel, high-rise, 2017 construction

201-foot, 18-story hotel completed in 2017. Designed by Gene Kaufman, the facade is set back from the sidewalk, with an entrance on the left side of the ground floor over a bride traversing a sunken garden. The ground floor is clad in wooden paneling, with French windows.

The upper floors are clad in grey pre-cast stone, and are divided into three bays of square windows set in tan wooden enframements. Each window has a main pane, and to one side are two smaller panes, the taller one stacked atop the shorter one. There are concrete projecting balconies with glass railings at the east bay of the 5th & 8th floors, the west bay of the 10th floor, and across both eastern bays of the 12th floor. At the 16th floor the east bay is set a little farther toward the building edge, and lacks the wooden frame, instead having a void that forms a recessed balcony. The 17th floor is slightly set back, with a glass railing. There is a glassed-in roof deck with a bar, and a prominent water tower on the roof. The hotel has 109 guest rooms.
