c.1918 clapboard Colonial mansion, an early home in the area, prior to the Munsey Park development, built as a farmhouse for William Matthews. Its driveway originally ran straight up to the home from Northern Boulevard. The home was owned during the 1940's - 1971 by Lawrence Goodman, president of the New York Veterinary Medical Association.
