7-story residential/commercial building originally completed in 1907 as the IRT Electrical Substation #41. Designed by Charles F. Hoppe, the facade is divided into a wide center bay with double-windows, and single-window end bays. The 2-story base is clad in red brick with wide stone bands, and is topped by a broad stone cornice. A partially-raised stone basement level is painted brown, projecting slightly forward from the building line, with rounded top edges. The main building entrance is in the west bay, atop a short, sideways-facing metal staircase.

The upper floors are clad in red brick, with bronze-colored metal spandrels within the bays. At the top, the piers framing the end bays have paired, verdigris, stylized brackets supporting a verdigris roof cornice with dentils and flat modillions. At attic story rises above the cornice, also clad in red brick. The upper floors of the building are now occupied by apartments, with the lower floors housing the New York Health & Racquet Club.
