The two story building was constructed in 1926 for the International Order of Odd Fellows. In 1934 the Odd Fellows became insolvent and the property was acquired by the Belgian American Association. Renamed Belgian Hall, it became the social center of Detroit's Belgium community until the 1970s when it was sold.
Later the property was known as Timbo's Hall and the Gratiot Theater. Long abandoned it was demolished about 2015.
