This Randalls supermarket opened in late October 1992 and closed in fall 2005. It's well-documented due to a video distributed to people in Lufkin, which was then uploaded to YouTube. The video lovingly describes the features at Randalls and why it was a "remarkable store", including a large cosmetic department, video rental, an in-store photo lab, seafood, bakery, deli (with prepared foods available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), a soup and salad bar, and a full floral department. It still remains shut over 10 years later.
