Before being demolished and rebuilt as Velvet Cactus by early 2015, this was originally New Orleans-based Mandina's, which opened a Baton Rouge location post-Katrina. Within a few years it closed and became Another Broken Egg. In 2010, that became La Lou (change of ownership, don't know--but La Lou may have had a different menu) but it closed a few years later.
