The existing library in Valandovo was founded in 1945 and was first located in the house of Risto Stamkov in the city center. Initially numbering 850 titles were donated to the home libraries of citizens in the community. By 1956 the city library in Valandovo named National Library, and then it got its present name "Goce Delchev". Library from 1955 to 1959 worked in the house of John John, and from 1959 to 1961 at the retirement home or small restaurant room of ZK 'Anska River. " From 1961 to 1981, it was situated in the premises of the former pub "Balkans". Since 1981 the library "Goce Delchev" is located in the Cultural House in Valandovo.
