This is main southern portion mining lease ML1318 which is for the Charbon coal mine which is owned by a joint venture between Centennial Coal with 95%, and SK Energy Australia Pty Ltd with 5%. Centennial is the operator and originally acquired the mine from Boral. It was granted June 29, 1993 with an expiry date of June 29, 2026. The lease falls under Act Year 1992 and the entire lease with both portions has an area of 983 hectares. See Charbon MPL0270 for more information about the mine.
