Tujague's (pronounced "Two-Jacks"), established in 1856, is the 2nd oldest restaurant in New Orleans.
There was serious concern it might close in 2013 when the owner died and the building owner considered selling the restaurant, but it remained open and in the family and made slight revisions: instead of a fixed menu for each diner, they now also offer a la carte dining.
