2-story (1 story at Reade Street) Art-Moderne mercantile building completed in 1936. Designed by Frederick J. Hartwig, it is clad in glazed white and brown brick. The two-story portion of the building has a frontage of fifty feet on Chambers Street and the one-story Reade Street portion of the building has a seventy-five foot frontage. On the Chambers Street facade the building has a stepped brick parapet highlighted with horizontal banding of contrasting brick. Current occupants of the building include B&H Jewelry, a check cashing service, Chamber Sports, and The Hummus & Pita Co. restaurant at Chambers, and Maxwell's Bar & Restaurant, Acapulco Fajita restaurant, and A Hamachi Sushi on Reade.
