The church was first attested in 1429 „parochialis e celesiae Talmucz”.
Between 1503-07 significant works were done, including a new roof added. Also then the construction of the southern aisle was abandoned. This fact was found in the 19th century, between 1829-1831 during reconstruction works to enlarge the church.
Between 1829 and 1831, in addition to enlarging the church, consolidation and renovation works took place using local building materials and a medieval concept. The central nave was separated from the two side aisles by walls with arched openings. The place of the choir has a polygonal closure, and the ceiling was built as a copy of the old Gothic vaults with ribs of shaped stone blocks.
